I'm running 6.7 on Windows 8.1 x64. However, this has been happening for a while. This is the first time that I've remembered to check a particular layout both when updating it and sync'ing and then when first bringing it up again so that I could verify the behavior and post this message.
I consider the status of each tab's locator bar to be part of the layout. If that is not the way L6 is designed, then I guess this is not a bug and should be considered a feature request.
If L6 is supposed to restore locator bars to their previous status when a layout is restored, then that is not happening consistently. Most recently, it's been happening in the multiview window. That window is nearly unusable without the locator bar since it provides the resource names in the column headings. Early this week, I made sure the locator bar in multiview was enabled, updated the layout, and sync'd. Today I restored that layout, and the locator bar was disabled.
I'm sure this has been going on for a while, almost certainly back to L5, and it's mostly been in monographs, lexicons, encyclopedias (e.g. ISBE), and commentaries since I don't generally have the locator bar open for Bibles.
Not sure what other info I can provide. Unless logs include details of every single window and every single tab and every single aspect of each tab, I'm not sure they would help either.
