Clearing search string leaves results highlighted

This is with Logos 6.7 on Windows 8.1

I run a search for "light" as below and - as expected - get results highlighted in my Bible

If I clear the search string the results stay highlighted - which I don't think is what used to happen

Closing the Search panel removes the highlights.

Is this a recent change in behaviour?

I have seen this on the Mac as well. If you change from Bible to basic or to another type of search they will clear or if you close the search window. I have seen this for several versions, so it is not new. It is probably not a feature, but a bug.

Not on a Mac, I think it goes back before Logos 6 even. If I don't want to close the search window to clear it, I type some random letters it won't find or switch between Bible and Basic search.
