Feedback Requested: Proposed change to On Air Edit view layout

We are considering making a small change to the layout of Proclaim when you are in On-Air and switch into Edit view. We're hoping this simplifies things both for us and for users. Let us know your thoughts.

Currently we split the main layout area with the normal Edit view and the Preview view (see the pictures below). We would like to remove the Preview portion of the window giving more real estate for the Edit view. You can quickly switch back and forth between these views using the Edit | Preview buttons. This change should let you make changes to the Service Item and get back to the On-Air Preview view without having things not related to what you are doing fill up the screen.

Nick, My way of working it to prepare beforehand - I would only make a change to the layout 'in extremis'.

Hence if I need to make a change I want to be able to do it really quickly and efficiently - I see your proposal helping.

It may not suit those who make up services as they go along.

Definitely yes! I don't make on-air edits often, but this will make it much easier when I need to.

Please, please do this.

Our laptop display is only 1366 x 768, and it is extremely difficult to make edits on the fly with the current layout.
