Issues with uploading logs to the forum from Mac

I've just seen two users talking about not being able to upload logs from Mac systems to the forums:
- https://community.logos.com/forums/p/119541/785745.aspx#785745
Can other Mac users advise on this?
Is there a problem at the moment - is there something extra that needs to be done?
Thanks, Graham

I just followed up. Three questions should be asked:
How large is the zip file? How long did you allow it to "work" after clicking "insert"? How fast is your internet connection?
The log utility works great... most of the time. Sometimes old log files gather... not sure why. When the zip is created, it brings in too much stuff. That may be the case here. Not quite sure how to rectify except to delete the extraneous stuff.

A screen shot is worth a thousand words. The reason you can't upload the zip file is obvious if you know what you are looking for. You have a 72.2 MB console message log!
I would just upload your logos.log file at present.

Thanks both Alabama & Graham. What would be the "non-extraneous" stuff? Can I unzip and just include that.
Hi Larry,
Generally the "Logos.log" file has the most pertinent information, so that is the best to include on a forum post. I'm really curious as to how your Console Message.log would be 72 MB, but at that file size I think the only option to share it would be Dropbox.
I'd recommend attaching just the Logos.log, and the MVPs and I can take a look at it.
Edit: I see Alabama beat me to the punch [:)]

Others have commented on the size of your Console Message file. In the past, I have occasionally quit Logos and cleaned the logging folder by deleting everything in it. Logos will create new log files as needed when you restart.
I should note that the proliferation of files seems much less now than in the past, and you only have a couple of old files in your logging folder.
The PBB Logs folder seems to accumulate multiple logs which could be useful, but a week or so awhile just become clutter.
You can find the logging folder in your home folder @ Application Support/Logos4/Logging.
