Recent Update Slowing Down Proclaim

I just recently uploaded the most recent update. I began to load songs and slices for the coming Sunday morning service. Proclaim has become incredibly slow. It took more the three to four times longer to load and the program became more buggy the longer it was opened. It froze only once, however it remained extremely slow. the last two updates have made Proclaim somewhat unstable and extremely slow.

I operating in Windows 10 with an Intel i7-4770 CPU @ 3.4GHz with a 64-bit processor. I have 24GB of RAM and over 2TB of hard drive storage with a 256GB solid state drive.

I am also the person who continues to have problem with operating PowerPoint within Proclaim. Your fix is the same as our work-around. Our work-around works much soother for us than your rendition. I would still like to see this feature become available with the current program but perhaps I am asking too much.

For now, can we please go back to a version of Proclaim that will not take half a day to put together the slides.

Hi, John. Could you please post your log files so we can take a look at the slowness issue? Instructions can be found here. We're currently attempting to trace the cause of the slowness in Proclaim; any new data is very helpful.

As far as PowerPoint is concerned, I just want to clarify that you're still experiencing a bug where you navigate to an item that is controlled by PowerPoint and PowerPoint doesn't popup. If this is the case, it's in our system to fix. The solution to it would not be a trivial fix, but I will spend some time investigating options within PowerPoint that may provide a better workaround for the time being.
