Is there a way to change all of the Hebrew transliteration in TDOT into Hebrew? I would be willing to pay for that service.
I would wish that transliteration would never be used for either Hebrew and Aramaic or Greek. The fact is that some works do it and there is nothing to do but to accept it. It's universally used the the Anchor Yale Bible commentaries as well. I suspect it's a way to try to reach the barbarians who don't know the languages [;)] [:D]. DON'T THROW STONES, JUST MONEY.
George, thanks for the humor [:D]. But also, is it unlikely or impossible that we might be able to get TDOT with the Hebrew words in Hebrew?

It ain't gonna happen. Just grit your teeth and live with it.

That depends. How good are you at motivating people? (I'm rotten at it.) One could standardize a label to be applied to any words tagged as transliteration (or that should be thus tagged) - the label would contain two attributes - language and word in original script (where possible). Get a group of people together - divvy up the work and add the Hebrew as a user project. All you need is several people who seriously want the Hebrew in Hebrew AND a genuine group leader.
