Hi,
My church has bought an on air licence of proclaim. I have demoed it already. The only flaw is that it doesn't allow me to download bibles locally. Is there a hack I could use? My church doesn't have a network connection.

The proclaim website FAQ states that
So I am guessing that there is currently no way but I suppose there is always a chance that this could happen in the future, just from a personal point of view this seems to be a definite offline feature, hopefully tomorrow a FL person can clarify for you better.

As Dan noted, you need an internet connection for OSB service items, but not for Bible Service items.
You can create a presentation at home or a coffee shop, somewhere with access to the internet to create your Bible service items to generate your presentation, then backup the presentation to a thumb drive and restore it on the church computer. Or you can just use a laptop that you take to and from church.

Correction: Internet is required only to create the On-Screen Bible itemm in order to fetch the reference text. Once it has been created you can present without Internet. I think this confusion comes from the On-Screen Bible quick screen which is intended to show verses on-the-fly, in which case you would need an Internet connection.
There aren't any "in Proclaim" workarounds for this limitation. If it were me I'd install Logos Bible Software on the same computer. Then you can use the "Send to Proclaim" feature to send reference text to Proclaim without Internet.

You should be able to. I'm not exactly certain how an On Air edit will be handled by the Send to Proclaim feature. My guess is the Bible item will be added directly after the current edit service item. I can have someone here investigate further. If this is not desirable you could always copy/paste the reference text to Proclaim from Logos Bible Software manually. Do you have the ability to setup a WIFI hotspot through your phone? I have used mine on several occasions when the building internet was not working. We rent space from a local school. 3g works quite well for me, 4g might even be faster than internet and WIFI provided by the school.
