How can I share my labels?

User-created labels are attached to notes that are stored in Note files. So, if you share the Note file, you get the labels in it. You can then turn that shared Note file on or off in the visual filters menu like any other Note file.

When does the resource preview show a label?

Somehow I missed this new feature ...

It only includes user-added labels.

How do I search all my resources except Bibles?

Have you tried a "quick collection" in the search window? In the "in [all resources]" dropdown type the wildcard "*" followed by "ANDNOT [all caps] type:bible"

Edit: P.S. To check whether you're getting the correct resources, you can check the number of resources in your total library minus the number that is classed as "type:bible". This should be the number that you see when you run the above search quick collection.

How do I preset all resources to show page numbers but not timeline events?

Right-click on the setting in the visual filter menu and you will get a popup enabling you to show / not show in all resources

To take you through it from left to right:

I've chosen Sense data rather than lemmas, as there's at least six lemmas which could be relevant, but only two senses (and their children, no pun intended!). You could use Louw-Nida domains if you prefer.

We want this word also to be a vocative noun. (That's the case used for a direct address.) WITHIN 0 WORDS links the sense directly to the morph search. You can construct the morph criteria by using the handy picker in Morph Search, then switch to a Bible Search.

Finally, we want all of that within the words of Jesus.

The parenthesis work as the do in Math, to ensure the search is carried out in the right order.

Mark - I really like this but it does give results when Jesus addresses people in terms other than "child*"

You can search for:

(child, children) WITHIN {Speaker <Person Jesus>}

It is difficult to have a search distinguish whether he is addressing them or talking about them, but you can easily find the one's of interest in the 40+ verses.

How do I change default font size in Note document?

I believe the Windows version is the same as Mac. If so

Click Tools>Program Settings

Scroll down to the Text Display settings

You should see an option to select your default notes font

• Set font, font size and bold/italic/small caps defaults by making changes to the Rich Text Editor toolbar in the Notes panel when no note item has focus. (Press the ‘Esc’ key to ensure no note item has focus.)

How do I click to return to where I was before?

Did you try clicking the "back" arrow? Press and hold it for a list?

How do I get a list of all the tags I've used in the Library?

If you're talking about the tags that you assign on the resource level, I'd suggest simply opening the library window and sorting by "mytag." If that column isn't displayed in you're library you'll need to right click on a header and check the mytag option. When you sort by mytag, you can have all rows collapsed (right click and "collapse all") which will in essence give you an exhaustive list of all the tags you've used. You'll also be able see how many resources are tagged with each without having to expand each section.

How can I change my tags on a group of resources?

Bring up the little information panel on the right side of the library — click the (i) to do so. Bulk tagging is done from there.

After selecting them you should be able to enter Tag information into the box outlined in red below.

Community Tags are not set by users but automatically on Logos servers when a number of people have assigned the same Tag to a resource

How do I filter the Vyrso store for resources?

I have played with that link this morning. This one will give you the non-fiction books that you do not have in your library that are under $5.00 https://vyrso.com/products/search?q=price%3A[0+TO+5.00]+-GenreGroup%3AFiction&start=0&sort=newest&pageSize=60&unlocked=no

The links do not work perfectly in that there are a few fiction books there that slip in but overall it works fairly well. In the above link, you can change the 5.00 to any amount you want. Some of the best sales are books at 99 cents. So you can change the 5.00 to 0.99 and it will give you all the non-fiction books at $0.99. You can then sort by savings or any of the other options.

I hope this may help some to find helpful books at a good price.

You can do very similar with the Logos website. I went to the website and entered Jame E Smith in the search box. It came back with 18 results. The web address is www.logos.com/products/search?q=James+E+Smith&Author=7363%7CJames+E.+Smith&redirecttoauthor=true&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60

I then added &unlocked=no at the end of the address and hit the enter key. https://www.logos.com/products/search?q=James+E+Smith&Author=7363%7CJames+E.+Smith&redirecttoauthor=true&start=0&sort=rel&pageSize=60&unlocked=no

This time it came back with only 12. So there are 12 that I do not have. That should mean that there should be 6 that I do have. Surprise, it came back with the 6 volumes that I do have. Please note that your results will be different depending on which volumes you have in your library. So this morning I learned that I can look at all of the results of a product search, or I can narrow it down to see just the products that I do not have, or I can see the products that I have purchased and are in my library. This will be helpful when we are looking at a particular author or other search criteria and just want to see which products we do not have. When we start a new study project these search methods will prove helpful before we begin the project.

Is there a way to transfer the highlighting I did in the King James Version to the ESV, and vise versa?

Highlights, by definition, are notes of selection... you select the specific text (or characters!) you want to highlight... they aren't tied to a reference, lemma, or anything else. The only way for you to "transfer" highlights from one translation to another is to manually, one by one, create the new highlights.

While Bruce and Alabama are correct in terms of transferring highlights, Logos Now 6.8 (currently in RC stage) will provide the ability for a "Sympathetic Notes Visual Filter" (for original language Bibles or Bibles with Reverse Interlinears)

This enables you to see highlights from one version displayed in another.

Also note that one can add attachment points to the original highlights.

I'm in Prov 30:5 and want to click on the work "shield" (NLT version) and see what was meant. How do I get this?

The Information Tool will help here (see Tools -> Information)

In the screenshot below I clicked on the word "Shield" and I get a definition (or in this case a pointer to a definition) in that tool.

The prioritisation that Bruce referred to will control which resources are used to provide these definitions

Is there a harmony in Greek?

I have Synopsis of the Four Gospels by Kurt Aland. What's neat about it is that you can switch it to display any version you what, including Greek.

I believe you can select the version displayed with all the synopsies/harmonies and with the Parallel Gospel Reader interactive. The interactive has the added bonus of having word-level alignments built in for Matthew, Mark, and Luke so when you hover over words, the corresponding words get highlighted.

How do I set that up so I can see lemmas pop up for similar words across the gospels?

You can open two copies of a Bible and turn on the visual filter:

In the Panel menu, click on Show Locator Bar

What resources appear in the Lemma in Passage section?

On which volumes get included, basically, everything classed as a commentary that has a string in Greek or Hebrew within a Bible milestone is intended. Not saying we haven't possibly missed volumes, but that's the goal.
