I have no idea how exact this is in estimating the needed bid but try this.
Open an item you are interested in.Find the bid graph Move the grid to near the top of your screenUsing a sheet of paper line the bottom edge to the lowest price bid and the peek bidWhere the paper crosses 100 is an estimate of the needed bid with the current bidders
With the graph above the estimated winning bid would be $60.
Raised my bid to 60.00. If enough people did this, we should be able to get it to cross the line much faster.

My theory, souped-up with a hefty dose of wishful thinking:
The 3 or 4 asterisk'd editions (in current packages) have been that way for quite some time. Maybe they're preparing the whole lot of them for [Toccata & Fugue in D Minor, please] Logos 7's refreshed base packages. Then when the dust settles after the launch, we lucky stiffs who bid, get them for $30. Precedent: Remember Gill and Princeton Review?
I upped to $50 some time ago. This is so prime that Logos should have pushed this this through. I'd bid twice if I could.
I've been in at $90 since Christmas time 2013. Doesn't look like it has moved hardly at all in two years.
