Logos won't open after update

First problem in 10 years or so! Please help!
After an update today, LOGOS will not open at all. When I click on the logo, either nothing happens or for less than a second the loading window shows...then nothing. Results are the same regardless of starting through the taskbar, start menu, or going to the program startup file itself.
Tried:
--Restarted computer several times and restarted LOGOS...same result
--Held Ctrl while starting Logos...same result...never got to "blank" sign-in page
--ran antivirus...clean result
--updated graphics and windows (not much to update, but still...thought it might help)...no change.
--tried to turn on logging, but it never turned out a new log file...I could only find the error file that took place at the time of updating the program (attached to this post).

Diagnostic Logging can be enabled in the registry; would like to look at Logos.log file.

Yes, as I mentioned I had tried to turn on logging, but no other log file was generated. I've gone through the steps on the website you linked several times with no joy...both with Java and registry edits...always with logging turned on but no error log generated. I've searched for the log files individually as well in case they got sent to a different folder than the norm, but still no joy.
I'm not convinced it even really "starts"...which may be the reason for no error log. It may not get far enough in the starting up to even do that.

In that case, you may need to post information from Windows Event Viewer here, or contact our technical support department.

Alright, problem solved.
I don't know what caused the problem in the first place, but hopefully the fix will help others who experience the same issue.
Here's what to do:
Go to https://www.logos.com/install
Re-install the base program (you will have to be logged in most likely)
--As far as I can tell, this does NOT destroy any settings or anything...mine opened up just like before...
--I reapplied the most recent update right away, and it went through just fine. No problems at this point with several restarts.
Judging from other posts on logos and other sites, others are having similar issues, so hopefully this helps some others!

I don't know if it is related or not but Microsoft Security Update KB3132372 has broken a few other programs. It broke my wife's email program last night and I had to uninstall the update and restart the computer. Maybe this update is affecting some Logos installations?

A security fix for Flash Player in Internet Explorer/Edge (Win10) will not directly affect Logos; which uses Chrome functionality for for web related features.

I had to call tech support to remedy my problem. I am running Windows 8 and there was a problem with .Net Framework. Tom (tech support) uninstalled Framework and then re-installed it. It works now.
I'm very thankful for Tom and Adam in tech support.
