Presentation Remote using iPad (4th gen)

Using my iPad 4th gen for remote still has some bugs:
When the person running the slides blanks the screen, I get a drop down box that appearing on my iPad like I'm selecting notes/no notes. that drop down menu does not go away until I close it. The main problem with this is that I can't advance slides without first closing the drop down. This is very distracting while preaching.
I use the notes section for my sermon notes. the slides that appear next to the notes are in two different sizes. some take up the the space allotted them, others are miniature such that text can't be read from them.
Speed of slide advancing is great on non-Sundays and good at 8:15am on Sunday but at 10:30 it it can take 2-4 seconds for the slide to advance.
Recently, scrolling the notes during the sermon has become difficult at 10:30am. I swipe my finger on the screen to scroll the notes up. The notes lag and jerk up a few lines. At first the lag caused me to swipe up a second or third time causing the notes to advance too far. I'm stating to expect the lag but this is still not how notes should work.

Thanks for the feedback Bob. Not sure why the notes would be lagging. Once they are downloaded (which should happen when you first take control) it should scroll smoothly. I've noted the quickscreen issue as well.
