Uploading Personal Books
Hi folks
Just uploaded a Personal book today only to discover that I had already one in my library. I tried to delete it from my collection of PB's but delete is greyed out. Is there a way to do what I want to do? Many thanks for

Hi Jerald,
I've had to remove some books myself. Here's what I do;
Open "Tools" located at the top of your Logos screen next to the search window. Find and click on Personal Books. Find your book in the list. Right click on book title. A small pop-up will ask if you want to delete it. Left click on the pop up to Delete the book. I hope this helps.

The problem Dave, is Delete is greyed out and so won't respond to a left click.

Hi Gerald, something you might try is posting the problem in the Logos 6 area to see if tech service has some solutions. Also, why not edit the book by changing the name to another book you might want to add, delete the original file while in the edit screen and upload a new book in place of it. Hit build book and replace it with something you can use. If you get a build error, shut down Logos and restart it. It should build the new book after restarting. I've done this several times and it works for me.

In this example 23712535314f480f94f6bcafce2ea8ab.lbspbb locating this file and deleting it will cause the program to update and remove it. Note after restart you may initially see it but if you click on it you will get a window telling you it is no longer in the library.

How would I locate this file? I've been trying to remove a particular personal book for a while now but I can't get it to go away. It's in my library but not listed among the books in the Personal Books tool. If I delete it from the library, it goes into hiding; if I delete it from hiding, it goes back to my library. I don't want it in hiding; I want it gone. I even asked Customer Service to help me remove it but the response was that they can't because they have no control over the license.
From your instructions I did a search on the file name but I'm only finding something that looks like a log file (a text document). Do you know where I should look?

Hi Daniel
It's easy enough to do what you want. When you add your personal book to Logos you find it listed on the left
at the bottom of your collection of PBs. To the right are two items one above the other - edit and open. If you click
on edit a box will open and at the bottom you are given the option to upload. Click upload button and simply wait
until the process says finished. Hope this helps.

after rebuild the Book again you can delete it...Logos than download your Book from the Clowd
