I'd like to suggest a different way in handling citations when copying material into a note file. Instead of creating a link whose text is the entire resource citation, place the full citation (without page references) to a special note in the same file, a "Bibliography" note. At the end of the pasted text place a reference to that citation along with the page number using a common technique like (Author, page) that is the actual link to the location in the resource where the copied material came from. Of course if there are multiple resources by the same author something like (Author-#, page) would have to be employed.
This would be helpful in two ways, both having to do with using an exported note file: 1) creates a centralized bibliography for the note file and 2) saves loads of space by not having the full citations repeated a large number of times in the final note document.
