Michael, any particular version, or method of scrolling? I just tried with NASB95 and had no problem.
It seems to be related to handouts, though I'm not sure why it is connected to scrolling. If you have one related to the passage you are scrolling try deleting it (hopefully it is one you won't miss or you can easily create it again!).
It would be handy to have the full log if the crash occurs again.
I was tired of holding the ctrl key down every time the program starts. I will start doing it again.
