Thumbnail view during On-air or Preview

During the on-air presentation, the current slide indicator (the red arrow) in the thumbnail view follows to the right until there is one slide left on the right side which means that you can only see the very next slide in the presentation unless you drag the slider. Is there some way to show more futures slides without using the slider or right arrow on the slide? For example, can you lock the current slide indicator in the center of the screen so that you can see 7 previous slides and 7 next slides to make skipping to future slides just as easy as back-tracking to previous slides? I rarely back-track, but quite often need to skip forward. Currently, to even skip forward one slide requires a minimum of two clicks. I also prefer to see what's coming, rather than what I have already done. It gives me more warning when I have to prepare other functions such as turning mics on, queuing music, etc.

Hello, BCBC. We've set up the timeline view so that if you double click on the last complete visible slide, the timeline view won't shift. If you navigate to that slide with the arrow keys, however, the timeline will shift, showing you several more thumbnails. The mouse selection is set up this way because it seemed like it would be frustrating to have the timeline shift if you were clicking through slides; what are your thoughts?

Personally, I can't think of any instance when I would like to have the timeline locked in place. Having used PP for years, I am used to the timeline scrolling along the bottom, and as I said before, since I rarely go back, but quite often go forward, having the current slide in the second position on the left suits me better than the second slide on the right as you have it. Your Gird view gives me visibility to more future slides, but it might take some getting used to. I have to be careful to not click "Edit" when I click on a slide.
