What is the situation on this set?

It is in CP, yet I have the first volume, Textual Criticism of the Bible, in my library. Was the whole thin included in some sort of bundle or something of that nature?

A preview edition of the first volume, Textual Criticism of the Bible was released in 2014 and was included in a few different bundles and collections.
The finalized edition of the first volume—as well as the remaining three volumes—are scheduled to be completed and shipped this year. We should have more information about this series soon.

So how does the pricing work for those of us that have the Textual Criticism volume?

Well the pricing is very strange.
If you look at the right I have everything in those bundles minus this. And you can see the projected $60 on CP, or for a better deal get it for $63.13. Or for the best deal pay only $87.91!.. /sarcasm off.

So how does the pricing work for those of us that have the Textual Criticism volume?
Unfortunately, a dynamic pricing discount does not apply to products on Community Pricing or Pre-Pub. However, the first volume is undergoing massive revision and review. We're confident that the amount of content that is revised and added to the final version of the first volume will justify the lack of a dynamic pricing discount.

We made some changes today that impacted dynamic pricing which explains why you noticed the prices of the recommended products changing.
In explanation of why you would pay a different price for the last remaining resource depending on which product you choose to buy, we need to explain how Dynamic Pricing works. You found a very complicated example here, so apologies up front for the length of the explanation.
It may be helpful to think of these transactions as "completing my collection" instead of "purchasing the Lexham Methods Series".
Here are the variables that come in to play in this example:
1 – The Lexham Methods Series (4 vols.) is on community pricing – No community pricing products are dynamically priced. However, when you finally purchase the community priced product after it's been converted to a pre-pub, you will receive a dynamic price if you own a portion of it. In these instances, the price you pay will be lower than that established by the community.
2 – The Lexham Methods Series (4 vols.) is comprised of 3 resources not yet published, and one that is published.
3 – You own the one published volume noted in number 2 above already.
4 – Both of the recommended collections contain all 4 volumes of the Lexham Methods Series.
5 – The Lexham Press Scholar’s Bundle is much larger than the Lexham Press Preaching and Teaching Bundle.
6 – The value of purchasing a bundle vs individual resources is much greater on the larger bundle.
7 – The price to purchase the 4 individual resources if sold separately is $119.80
8 – The price to purchase the 4 Volume bundle at regular price is $99.95.
9 – The projected price to purchase them on CP is $60.
10 – The 3 remaining volumes you need comprise approx. 4% of the $1500 Scholar’s bundle, Dynamic pricing calculates a $65.37 price tag on completing that collection (it takes more than just the percentage into account).
11 – The same 3 remaining volumes you need comprise approx. 9% of the $1000 Preaching and Teaching bundle, Dynamic pricing calculates a $87.93 price tag on completing that collection.
In both cases, it’s clearly a better value to purchase the remainder of a collection vs the sum of the remaining unowned resources.
This also demonstrates customers get a better value when completing collections with higher “bundling” value built in. This is typically the case as the bundles grow in size.
In this instance, purchasing the product via community pricing is the lowest cost approach.
