Using Search, Notes

Hi,
I'm having some simple difficulties that I am certain are just my lack of understanding of how Logos works.
First of all - how to use the help/search feature. I was having trouble adding a note. I wanted a general note, so I went to Documents and clicked Notes. It brought up a new tab. I changed the title of the note, but was unable to add any content for the note. I tried clicking and double-clicking in what appears to be the content area, but could never type anything in the area.
So I went to help (upper right question mark) and typed "how to use notes" with "Search All Text" above the search field. I'm having a hard time understanding how to use the search option. It said 0 results. I took off the quotes, and got 1,037 results, but it looks like it is finding all occurrences of "how" and "to" and "use" and "notes"... and was not at all helpful. How do I navigate from the first search result to the second one?
Thanks.
Jodi

For this resource (Logos 6 Help) it is better not to use Search, but type Notes into its reference box and select "notes document"

Click Add note and you should be able to type in the Content area as below
Give it a title and you have a general Note
More specific uses are documented in the Help for "notes document" (see my previous post).
