Comfort's Evidence Bible doesn't come in two sections for sale????

I checked and a salesman said that this Bible is in two sections but is only sold as one unit.
What is up with that?
Not only is it King James only (no offense intended but I was so hoping it was NKJV at least...it is not) but Logo divides the resources somehow yet doesn't sell them separately.
Also...I think it is a crime that Ken Ham's stuff isn't in Logos.
Heavy sigh.

I had a paper once. The King James was modified, what they called Comfort text an easy to read King James.
Not sure if that helps

cute kitty....I am smiling at your Comfort Text. I had to go back and correct my typo (no offense intended/implied is what I meant to write). I understand/appreciate the King James only crowd but I am not in their number.

Study bibles usually are produced as two resources: the bible text (I assume the Comfort-edition of KJV uses modernized spelling, does it?) and the bible notes. Sometimes they are available separately - which makes sense especially if the bible itself is very prominent and potential buyers will own it already, as is the case with NIV and ESV. But it is always a question of publisher contracts.

thanks NB...makes no sense to me to say it is two resources and then not offer them separately. Very little of what Logos or Faithlife makes sense to me anyway. God bless them all.

It depends upon what you mean by "two resources."
The license is for ONE book (The Evidence Bible: Irrefutable Evidence for the Thinking Mind with "Comfort-able" King James). The way that FL brings that ONE book into its ecosystem (to make it really useful) is to separate the bible text from the notes.
In all reality, you are buying ONE book, it is just that the book is divided up into two "resources" within the software, which makes the resource more powerful for the end user.

I have not got this book but if it works like a study bible it means that you can use it with most bibles because the 'evidences' are separate from the bible. However it may well be that the license has to include both because of publishers conditions.
Just a thought.
(Working for the government taught me that there is usually some fairly good reason for the most crackpot seeming rules [:)] )

I have single resources that came in 4 or 5 parts so that the languages were separated. It makes it possible to put them in parallel and in compare text. But it doesn't make sense to offer each language separately when they don't stand on their own in any context.
