I'm reading a book with some pretty specific vocabulary, and I was hoping to add a note that is linked to each occurrence of a word (globally, or in that resource) to provide a definition and some synthesis...think of a handmade glossary for the book I'm reading.
First, I tried doing a bible word study, and adding a note at the top of the guide, thinking that it might pop up as a note in the text...but these notes don't seem to show up anywhere but in the guide (Information panel, in the text, in a notes document). Come to think of it, notes added to any other guide don't seem to show up anywhere else either, but at least they are saved in a saved passage guide.
Second, I considered doing a visual filter, but while it is possible to choose a highlight with labeling, i can't find a way to link them to a specific note.
Third (the long way), I did an inline search of the resource for the term, and opened up a notes window beside. I added a note to the document, and clicked edit attachment points. I then selected each occurrence of the word in the resource and clicked "attach to current selection". This worked, but created a goofy note with 100 attachment points at the start.
There has to be an easier way. Any ideas?
