Recommended Feature: Notes and highlights
The biggest suggestion I have for highlights is I would love to have my highlights of Bible verses common across all of my Bibles, including original languages. So, if I have underlined Jn 3:16 in my KJV, it is underlined in my Nestle Aland, and my ESV. Just like with paper, I always hated changing Bibles from the old to the new because I lost my notes. Currently, if I highlight something in the ESV, I spend the time to open the KJV and even the Nestle Aland or the BHS.
The same thing could be said for notes. I understand that we may not want a note to be on everything, there could be a toggle for that.

This was introduced as a Logos Now feature in Logos 6.8
From the release notes
Corresponding Notes & Highlights Visual Filter
This visual filter shows notes and highlights attached to other resources as if they had been attached to the active resource (e.g. highlights in SBLGNT can be shown in any translation with a reverse interlinear).
- Not enabled by default, and only an option in word numbered resources (e.g. original language Bibles or modern Bibles with reverse interlinears).
- Corresponding highlights are not searchable, they are only for display.
- Corresponding notes and highlights cannot be erased or removed. They can be hidden by disabling the visual filter, or removed via the note document or the attached resource.

This is a feature I would like to see available in a non-subscription based form also. If I were to utilize that feature in Logos Now and the unsubscribe wouldn't I lose my cross biblical highlights?
For those who use lectionaries, it is nice to see where a passage is used in the lectionary cycle.
My complete wish list would be:
In my personal leather bound bible, I have all the Sunday readings highlighted (first 3 words and last 3 words so I know where they begin and end.
I also have highlights on basic themes: Repetitive phrases in a passage (...and it was good...), Worship, doctrinal, dogmatic, Translational, Mysteries, and Personal.
For these themes, I would like to see my highlights across all bibles.
I would like this to be a sophisticated overlay. Each thematic highlight could be "unchecked" and the highlighting would be removed from all Bibles. When "re checked" that themes highlighting would be applied to all the bibles.

Yes - unless this capability is included in a subsequent, non subscription-based, Logos upgrade

If I understand you correctly all of these are possible with the Logos Now.feature

Graham, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing this option in the preferences and I'm running the current version. Any further ideas?

The "Logos desktop, Mac" part isn't a problem. Rather, the problem is that you aren't a Logos Now subscriber, so you aren't seeing the feature. Logos Now is a subscription service which provides a number of benefits, including advanced access to future features and datasets.
You could try a free month to see if you like it (and if it is worth it to you).

I understand what Logos Now is, but I figure after I've been spending tens of thousands of dollars since 1995 they would put the best feature set in the desktop application. I shouldn't have to pay a monthly premium to have the best features.
I thought the primary concept behind Now was to get people who were undecided to put their toe in the water. I understand there would be other concepts, such as people with limited storage space or whatever, but I have found web based systems to be greatly unreliable due to connectivity issues.
Again, it's sad they are giving advanced data capabilities to Now and not the desktop.

And there are many people who hold / express similar views.
As has been explained elsewhere what Faithlife are doing is making new features in the desktop programme available early to those who wish to subscribe to the service. These new features would previously have been developed in the background and made available in major upgrades to the software

No, Logos Now was always about providing enhanced value to the desktop program and designed for those who already were using Logos - normally with different base packages

And Logos Now is not a web-based system (although some features only work when connected to the Internet). It is about enhancing the desktop programme.

As above - the Logos Now features enhance the desktop application. It is not a separate thing - although it does include as part of the subscription an enhanced web-based application (currently in beta) for when people don't have access to their main system

Absolutely - I noted it was in the Logos 6 forum and so wanted to make clear that my response was dependent on a Logos Now subscription.

For myself, its not an ideal solution but ....
I started my study notes and add reference notes. This propagates across all my bibles. The square isn't as eyecatching as the highlight, but at least it 'sorta" works.
