Value?

For me, the AYB was an excellent investment. Though I may not always agree with a given author's conclusions, the exegetical insights (at least among the newer volumes) are top notch. To provide some perspective, there are many volumes that I value more than the NICOT/ NT, WBC, NIGNT, PNTC, and BECNT/ OT counterparts. I strongly recommend the following volumes: Leviticus, Proverbs, Jeremiah, Hosea, Luke, John, Acts, 1 Corinthians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, and Revelation.
In addition to what Chris said (straight and to the point, thx!) here is a thread where several weigh in on their favorites and why. Incidentally I would add Ephesians and the Johannine Epistles to Chris' list.
