Indexing Hangs at 44%
I'm posting this for a friend of mine for whom I regularly offer Logos phone tech support.
On Logos 6.9 SR-1 Mac, he was having indexing issues so I had him "Rebuild Index". He went to bed with it at 44% and woke up at 44% (computer was set to never sleep). He then erased Logos and then redownloaded it and building the index froze up again at 44%. Any ideas?

older (4-5 years) macbook. I'm not sure exactly.

I have a 2011 MacBook. When the warranty expired, I put in an SSD. A couple weeks ago Logos kept reindexing, and to get it to finish I would need to pause it from time to time to prevent it stalling while overheating.
I ran the hardware test and everything passed. The SSD seems to be fine, but now my MacBook is randomly crashing.

Provide logs as per 'bama's signature line for Mac.

after a second delete and reinstall with a restart, indexing went smoothly

As I posted on another thread related to indexing, there seems to be a pretty nasty bug related to indexing on Mac in the current iteration of L6. I am sure the team is hard at work trying to fix it. Thanks for the hard work! It seems to be a bit hit or miss as to what makes it work, but having to delete and reinstall and restart to fix something is not normal, and hopefully the fix comes soon.
