Having one Logos account on multiple user accounts on Mac?

Context: My wife and I share a mac laptop. We both use my huge (and expensive!) Logos library. We use separate logins/accounts on the mac, however.

Problem: When she tries to log into my Logos account while logged on to her Mac account, it wants to download my whole library all over again. I don't have room on the hard drive to have my entire library downloaded twice.

Bottom line: Is there a way to somehow have two Mac accounts using the same Logos library on the hard drive without it downloading twice? Is there a way to manually point Logos to the folder on my account where my Logos library is already downloaded? We're both admins on the mac, so folder permissions shouldn't be an issue.

I am kinda guessing this is not possible, but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to post about it in case there is a genius out there who knows how to do it, or a Logos employee.

Yes I think you can do this... no it is not super easy... You need to move the Logos4 folder out of your user library and place it some place neutral on your mac... best in the shared folder in users.... then you need to make symblink(?) to put in your user library folder.... and her user folder. Somewhere in the Logos wiki there is information on it but I have yet to track it down... I am not sure if each user can have the active link at the same time. I think it should work but until someone more experienced comes along I am not 100% sure of the exact process.

Strange, but you are the third user tonight to ask a related question.

Anything is possible, but it isn't supported.

Your best bet may be to have one of you utilize the web app.

As Alabama said it is not officially supported but the way to do it is roughly outlined in the Logos wiki i linked..

Yes, but technical challenge with using one copy of Logos Application Support files and folders is ensuring use is limited to one user at a time. The Logos application was designed with exclusive access by one user for a set of database files on OS X (and Windows). Note: one Logos 6 installation could be configured for use by a different user within a few minutes (albeit not recommended nor supported). If was inclined to use one Logos application with multiple user accounts on OS X (and Windows), would write a script to avoid launching application when already being used.
