Song Changes

Haven't used Proclaim in years but we are giving it a shot in my current Church. Biggest issue we are having is that it looks like when we enter a song, change the justification to center vs left, and add a shadow effect for outline; it doesn't save those changes when we add the song into another show. Is this something we have to do every time we reuse the same song?

Welcome back to Proclaim!

When adding a song you have a couple options for reuse.

1) use the song entry helper to reuse lyrics, license info, attribution, and custom order sequence. When you add song lyrics in this manner they will use the text formatting for the selected background.

2) Use the Reuse Items panel in the Add Item popup. When you do this you will get a copy of the service item, complete with the background and any styling information you may have configured.

To give yet another option, we have created a Presentation called "Template". In that we have blank announcements, songs, etc., with all the formatting exactly as we want it. Each item is called "Announcement template", "Song Template", etc. When we add a song, instead of just choosing "add song", we type in "template" in the "reuse items" box, and choose the song template.
