I've commented before on the problems changing the "look" of a worship service from one week to the next if we use the previous week's service as our starting place for this week. As I apply different item types to old slides from the media browser, the backgrounds always change, but the typeface and type attributes (size, color, weight) sometimes change and sometimes don't change. Its a sloooow process changing each slide individually. At a minimum, when I select "Apply to Current Item" from a Proclaim Pro Media set in the media browser, I would expect all the type attributes to be carried over. Am I missing something?

Hi Clint. As a Pro Media subscriber, many of the slides that you'll be adding from the media browser are Smart Media, which means that the text is formatted to change dynamically with the background. You can find out more about Smart Media in this article.

If you make a change to one of the text fields on a Smart Media slide, e.g. changing the font type or color, we respect that and don't use the dynamic changes. This would explain why sometimes the text changes with the background and sometimes it doesn't.

You can also save your font styles for use in any future presentations using custom styles. More info on that in this article.

If the text styling isn't being applied from the media browser, you can reset all of the customizations you've made to a slide using this button:

Once the customizations are reset, "Apply to Current Item" will now apply all of the Smart Media changes. Let me know if you have any other questions about this.
