Adding Media - How do the developers think we should do it.

Each week I am offered, from various sources, some slides for general use in presentations. In fact some weeks I am offered the chance to download some free media from Faithlife itself.

At present I have a 'presentation' which I have called 'adding media' which just consists of slides from various sources that I might like to use some time in the future.

Sometimes I add them as 'Image Slide Shows' sometimes as 'Content'. Actually I am a bit confused.

How do the developers envisage that we store and manage this type of content given that they themselves offer such content occasionally?

Hello Mike, for the scenario that you describe we expect you to use the "Import files..." button in the My Content section of the Media Browser. 

This will allow you to rename/tag the files and they will show up in your Group Upload series for use in future presentations. The result is the same as adding a custom background using the "Import..." link in the service item edit view, but it works for multiple files at once.

In the future we'd like to provide more organization features for group  uploads (e.g. allowing you to create sets of related items) but for now the tags are your best option.
