"send to kindle" missing for some books

I know the "send to Kindle" feature is being retired (I read it the day I got my new Kindle), so I want to send some of my more important resources to my Kindle before the deadline.

I had no problem sending this resource: Thomas Aquinas, Commentary on the Gospel of John: Chapters 1–21. (Washington, DC: The Catholic University of America Press, 2010).

But when I try to send this resource, or any of the other books in the same series that I've tried, I do not have the "send to Kindle": Peter Damian, Letters 1–30, ed. Thomas P. Halton, The Fathers of the Church. (Washington, D.C.: The Catholic University of America Press, 1989).

Can anyone please advise? I would like to do this before the deadline next week.

Unfortunately, if the resource wasn't already "send to kindle" enabled, it won't be. [:s]

Your best bet is to do it manually. Mark Barnes created a great video... I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks alabama24, but I'm not sure I understand. Why wouldn't my resource be enabled for "send to Kindle"? I thought that the vast majority of resources were enabled, and I assumed these of mine were too, but there might be some other problem.

Could Faithlife confirm that the CUA "Fathers of the Church Series" were not enabled to for "send to Kindle"?

It's all academic now, but:

Resources which were too large were not included.
Resources which FL couldn't permit to be sent weren't included.
Resources which FL hadn't gotten around to creating STK editions weren't included.
Resources which were recently released (or updated) weren't included.

FL doesn't provide primary support in the forums... I don't know if you will get an answer or not. I'll see if I can find someone, but (bad news) I don't think you will get any satisfaction. If it isn't working now, I don't see them fixing it by the end of the month. [:s]

I was trying to send the recently released Mediaeval Continuation of CUA's Father's of the Church Series. Yes, those are very recently released, so I guess I can't send them over. But I since checked the original series (up to something like 127 volumes now), and those seem to work just fine.

Thank you very much for your help. I can live without the newer books on Kindle, but having the entire original series there is a big benefit.

Do check out Mark's video when you get a chance. It isn't as easy as the "send to kindle" feature, but it is manageable.
