Video didn't play

A video I added today didn't play for some reason.
The black screen appeared and the video wasn't loaded.
I Looked at the logs (although I know nothing about it ),
and found that 'video loaded; false' anything to do with that?
Thank you all in advance!

p.s.2.
oops, I looked at the logs of the times when the video worked and it said the same thing...
Anyone any ideas?

I'm guessing that the video wasn't downloaded completely to your computer locally before you tried to play the video. After you open a presentation Proclaim downloads all of the media in that presentation so that computer is synced, and this can take awhile, during which period you won't be able to play the videos.
The log statement "Video loaded: false" doesn't necessarily mean that that specific video didn't play. This statement accompanied by an error confirms a video error for us.
If you have this problem in the future please feel free to attach a .zip file of your logs to the forums and we can get some context on the messages you're seeing.

I added the video locally to the computer, so I think that rules that option out P_P
Thank you, though!
I'll attach the zip file!7215.Proclaim Logs.zip

Is the first frame of the video all black? In other words, does is start out black?

I wasn't there, so I'm not sure it was a complete blackness or blackish screen which is the beginning of the video.
so yes, it does start with black, but it's not entirely black...
Are you saying that maybe someone pressed the pause button (if there is one?)?
But I think that's unlikely... Does the logs say anything about pausing?

That is what I was thinking... Video playback on Mac has been really solid across all supported versions of OS X. If you encounter it again I'm interested in what happens when you try to interact with the video player controls (e.g. play, pause, scrub).
Sorry I'm not more help.

I trust you if that's your conclusion based on the symtoms and logs that I uploaded.
I'll pass that on to the staff!
