Import/Export notes to/from Evernote

closely related: add integration for MS Onenote.

It appears to me from my Notes Document print/export option that I can move notes from Logos into OneNote. See Logos export screen shots below followed by Microsoft import instructions. Has anyone actually tried this? Obviously this does not resolve importing from OneNote into Logos.

I also noted an article on the Microsoft site on transferring from EverNote to OneNote If OneNote is supported is there a separate need to support EverNote or is the export portion of this request basically achieved?

Instructions on importing into OneNote:

How to import into OneNote 2010 and OneNote 2007

In OneNote 2010 and OneNote 2007, you can import information into your notes in several ways. You can insert documents and files, and paste screen clippings from other programs.

You can also import information by using the print driver that installs with OneNote. The print driver lets you send information from any computer file to a page in your OneNote notebook, and this "prints" the information to that page instead of sending it to an actual printer.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Use the appropriate program to open the document or file that you want to import into OneNote. For example, use Microsoft Office Word to open documents or Microsoft Office Excel to open Excel workbooks.
  2. On the File menu, click Print.

Note Some third-party programs might have different interfaces than the Windows interface. Print commands may have different names and may be in different locations than the commands described in these steps.
  3. In the Print dialog box, select Send to OneNote as the printer, and then click Print.
Note When you print a file to OneNote by using the OneNote print driver, a copy of the file's contents is imported. OneNote does not maintain a link to the source file. If the source file is updated, those changes do not appear in your notebook unless you import the file again.

To set OneNote print driver options, follow these steps:

  1. Open the document or file that you want to import.
  2. On the File menu, click Print.

Note Some third-party programs might have different interfaces than the Windows interface. Print commands may have different names and may be in different locations than the commands described in these steps.
  3. In the Print dialog box, click Preferences.
  4. In the Send To OneNote Properties dialog box, specify the page size and orientation that you want, and then click OK

First of all, print to OneNote is only available on a PC, not on a Mac. So this is not solved for the Mac users.

Secondly, Evernote users might now whether something similar exists to print or import notes into Evernote. Evernote has Webclipper and other tools that let you save emails etc. right in Evernote. Maybe there is something else out there that works with applications like Logos.

Thanks for the feedback ... as this is the top Uservoice issue it is important to keep track of all sides of the issue. As you can tell I am not a Mac User or an Evernote/OneNote user.
