Here's a rudimentary question: Why do PBB filenames typically begin with a four digit number? Thanks!

    If you mean the .lbspbb file, then they don't.  Here is an example:  f4ca0101fc11402686ff287e4890eb3b.lbspbb

    But that is not likely what you meant.

    If you mean  .docx files downloaded from the forums, like this,  

    2273.pg51655-THE_HISTORICAL_JESUS_A SURVEY_OF_POSITIONS.zip

    then I suppose the cause is Logos adding some random numbers to avoid server file name conflicts without altering the basic original file name.  That is as good a guess as I can come up with until someone comes up with something better.

    Yes, Gao, the latter. I was talking about the docx files. Sorry I was not more clear. But thanks for the answer. And thank you, too, Doc B.
