I'm curious about how my church would respond to the features of proclaim. For those who have been using it. Did you get any complaints from people without smart phones?
Not for us. For people without smartphones, it is no different than if you used Powerpoint. For me, the automatic sermon recording/uploading and the ability to store the presentation in the cloud are the big selling points. I don't know we have many people who actually use the Faithlife app in services. If it is on the screen, I don't really see the advantage to looking at it on your phone; a paper Bible has the benefits of seeing it in context, the memory of where it is on a page, the ability to jot a quick note, etc.; I don't think those are feasible for most people on smartphones in church. The sending announcements to the user's calendar is cool, though.
