Audio Issues - Recording works for other apps but not Proclaim

We recently purchased Proclaim and are enjoying the experience. We have run into a snag though with audio.

Currently, we have 2 computers:

1) Computer A - presents content to our congregation (Proclaim and Audacity are installed here)

2) Computer B - performs Audio recording of service (using Omega Lexicon sound equipment - Proclaim and Audacity are installed here)

We have been using Audacity to record for several years and it works well. However, our goal is to have one computer to perform both of these functions, especially since Proclaim can auto start/stop the recording (Great feature!)).

On both computers, Audacity registers the recording equipment just fine and records with out issue. Proclaim sees the same recording equipment as Audacity but will not pickup any audio from the recording equipment.

I have walked through the how to for audio recording (link below) but don't even get the test sample working. I was wondering if there is something I'm missing. I don't see a lot of controls available in Proclaim for testing/debugging.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Adam, glad to hear you're wanting to use Proclaim for audio recording!

When testing recording in Proclaim have you made sure Audacity is shut down? Even looking in Task Manager to ensure it's not running in the background.

Nothing sticking out in the logs. We have an Alpha Lexicon laying around that I'll play with soon to see if we can find an issue. Just for troubleshooting, does the recording work if you bypass the Omega Lexicon device?

I'm having a similar issue, but with a less complex setup. I'm running an aux send off of our console to the computer's audio ports (have tried both line in and microphone) and in Windows control panel I'm seeing signal as expected from that source. Open up Proclaim, go to audio settings, select the source (have tried both), only the first green bar is lit regardless of input slider setting (including maxed out). Audio card is onboard the PC's motherboard, which is a Gigabyte EP45-DS3L (Socket 775), with NVidia HD chipset.

Would like to record our weekly sermons but have been unable to (since purchase back in January).

Any help would be sincerely appreciated
