I would like to know how I can connect my ATEM Production Switcher 4K to Proclaim where I can begin to use lower thirds and song lyrics as an overlay to the live recording feed.
Hi Jermaine, you will want to take an output from the computer into one of the ATEM's inputs. I used HDMI for this in our setup and named it Proclaim.
Also, you have to make sure that all of the inputs and outputs are the same size and frame rate.
For this purpose you can consider 29.97 and 30 fps to be the same.
Once you get the output of your computer matching the video standard set in your switcher then you should see your desktop on the switcher's output.
Proclaim sees this as a normal display and you can select it and output slides to it.
Next you will want to choose an upstream key and configure it to match the output from Proclaim. Proclaim will either be filling with Blue, Green, or black depending on your settings here:
Hope that helps. I can help you with the key too if you'd like.

Thanks Jordan!! This was a major help. However, I do need your help now with the keys because I'm stuck.
Sure thing, first get your camera shot live and click the first upstream key.
Then configure the key to match Proclaim's output color. And select your Proclaim input as the fill. If you use green you can copy these settings.
Then you need to make the key live my going on air
Move back to BKGD so that you can swap out camera shots.
