Hi guys,
Proclaim has been regularly crashing at our church for quite a while now. When I check the logs, the error is always the same. Error 8516
However I can't find anything about this error in the forums, so if you could help us out that would be wonderful.

This could be caused by a firewall or anti-virus program that is inhibiting the update information to pass through. Try disabling third-party programs to see if that resolves the crash.
