I am trying to do a search. I want to search for every occasion where son, daughter is not a member of a physical family, but to the body of Christ.  I would also like to do a similar search for wife and husband. is this possible?

I don't think it's possible to do it completely, but you can certain make your life easier than doing it manually.

The easiest way to work out what's best is to open the reverse interlinear ribbon and informational panel on a word that you know you'd be looking for. I used 1 Timothy 1:2 ("To Timothy my true son in the faith").

Looking at the RI, you can see that sense may help a little. In the information panel you'll see the cultural concept of "Elders as fathers", and (if you have LN) a Figure of Speech, although I found this less helpful.

Open the BSL to the right sense, and the Factbook to the Cultural Concept should get your started. You can create searches for both, too. You may discover more senses/concepts that are worth discovering, too.

Bear in mind that the tagging is very subjective. For example 1 Corithians 4:14 and 17 are tagged with "child (offspring)" not "child (endearment)".

I want to search for every occasion where son, daughter is not a member of a physical family, but to the body of Christ.

    One Bible search idea is:

    (brother,husband) WITHIN 2 WORDS (sister,wife)

Search results have some false positives: e.g. Matthew 14:3 ; Mark 16:17,18
