Unparalleled

I'm going to be buying Jared Wilson's new book, Unparalleled, today from another eBook vendor. It's published by Baker, so I can't see any reason it's not available in Vyrso right now.

I want to continue to encourage Logos to be competitive with other eBook distributors if they want more of my money. That includes keeping books in Vyrso that are moved to Logos but don't really need the extra "Value Add" of Logos markup. That ends up doubling (or more) the price of an eBook that doesn't benefit from anything beyond linked scripture references. In these cases I'm buying the cheaper book every time.

And in this case, I'm buying the book in a place it's available.

On the Baker website, Logos is in the vendors list of that book, however, Vyrso is not. I couldn't find it on Logos either.

My guess is, it's reserved to be published on Logos, and therefore hasn't made it to Vyrso.

I can fully understand to remove Vyrso editions when they're moved to Logos, or reserved to be moved to Logos. From a Vyrso sale, FL makes only a miniscule amount of profit. There's no reason why they should compete with themselves. 50% of the customers might buy the book somewhere else, and 50% might buy it on Logos instead. Still a lot more profit for FL than 100% of the users buying it from Vyrso.

I don't think it is 50:50 (more like 95:5) and the longer the lead time for Logos, the worse. People tried to find creative solutions for that in the past, but nothing has been implemented.
