My iPad and iPhone Logos Apps are not allowing me to highlight text. Please let me know if you have any idea on what is causing this problem. I have reset my devices multiple times. Thank you
This happens to me randomly, but with some frequency. Quiting the app and restarting fixes it for me.
I just did that to no avail. My next step is to remove the app, but I would hate to have to reinstall all of my book downloads if not necessary. Being this is happening on multiple iPads and my iPhone it seems like it is not a problem at the device level. Does anyone have any insight? Thank you in advance.

The simplest reason is if a user has turned off said note document. It would appear as if you weren't highlighting, when in actuality you were.
If that isn't the reason, you may have "large note document syndrome." How do you organize your highlights? How large are the files?

I only use one note document, a default blue highlighter. I often find that I can highlight part of a book on my ipad, and 10 minutes later, further on in the book, I no longer can.
