This weekend I was controlling Proclaim during our service and discovered that the worship leader was singing a different song to the one prepared in the presentation. I selected the 'No Text' quick screen, then started to edit the song item to find the correct song. As soon as I started typing in the 'Song Title' box the item became visible again on the screen with my song search string visible as the title.
I'm assuming this is a bug and that the 'no text' quick screen should remain visible until I switch to another slide [as per usual behaviour]. Can someone confirm please?
[update: the same is also true for any slide with a text item - editing the text item switches off the 'no text' quick screen]
I've found a work-around, but it's counter-intuitive (and didn't come to me in the heat of the service). If I select a 'spacer' item (featuring the series artwork for example), click Edit, then click on the song item, I can then search for the correct song & update the song item without the screen updating. Then click 'Preview' then select the song item.
Thanks
