Confused...
Hey everyone - I'm confused. I have downloaded the Faithlife Study Bible into Logos on my PC (Windows 7), but all it seems to contain are study notes? In other words, if I just want to open the actual text of Romans and read the Scripture, I can't find a way to do it. What in the world am I missing? Does the FSB contain the Bible, or is it just study notes to complement a separate Bible?
This is why eBooks will never fully replace a book in print. The only confusion you have with a print book is flipping through trying to find something. I could have been reading Romans an hour ago if I simply opened up the print Bible next to my bed... but this issue seems so bizarre and perplexing to me, so I wanted to get to the bottom of it.
I have to be missing something...

Hi Jim - and welcome to the forums
The FSB is a set of study bible notes, it doesn't contain the biblical text
The intention is that it is read alongside a Bible - allowing you to match the translation of your choice and the study notes.

Ah! Well that explains the mystery, then. Thank you so much for letting me know!
Perhaps a name change would be in order, something along the lines of Faithlife Study Bible Notes? Something that makes it more obvious that the Biblical text is unavailable in this resource.
Unless I'm the first one to encounter this issue, then it's obviously operator error! [:D]

I agree. Just creates confusion. U have perhaps noticed they sell ESV Study Bible and ESV Study Bible Notes, for example. The first paragraph on each product page distinguishes between them.

James the FSB is easy to complete by adding in the Lexham English Bible (LEB) which is also available free. I am sorry for your frustration with the FSB, it would be nice if this was automatically added.

Thanks everyone! Problem solved. I added the LEB (thanks Dan!) so I now have a Bible in my Bible study software (????).
