Is there a way to remove media as a batch instead of one at a time?
Hi Herb,
You man most definitely remove items as a batch. There's two ways to handle this...
The way shown above is holding down shift on the 1st item of the group and the last item of the group, I do this selection while holding down the shift key. Once all my items are selected, I right click (If using Mac, hold down Ctrl then click in order to right click) then select delete, this will delete the group you selected as a batch.
For the other method this is for deleting specific items in a list. This is when you want to pick certain items together.
In order to do what's illustrated above all you need to do is instead hold CTRL key instead of shift. While holding CTRL select the individual items you want to delete. (On Mac you'll need to hold down CMD instead) Once the items are selected you'll right click one of the items and select delete.
I'm talking about my uploaded media files to the media library. I have lots of files that I no longer need and would like to remove them from the library. I have only found a way to delete one at a time which is very time consuming.
i just now figured out how to delete them as a batch. On my Mac I hold down the command key and select the ones to delete.
Ah, my apologies on mistaking which one you're trying to delete this.
I'm glad the information I provided still applied though!
