I have three screens. Proclaim is seeing them all on my primary monitor. This is new, and on Sunday morning, of course. How do I get them back to the correct monitors/screens.
Hello Paul,
Have you tried to identify the monitors? This article shows how to do this. http://support.proclaimonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/203326639-How-do-I-configure-my-display-outputs-
Yes, in fact, that was another source of frustration. Though our Mac clearly has three computers showing in the settings, Proclaim clearly has all three screens identified on the primary one, as if they could somehow all three exist on one screen. We tried using PowerPoint, just to see if the computer wasn't able to throw the images to a different screen, and it worked just fine. We tried dragging a window onto the other screens, and that worked just fine. So, it's not the computer or the screens.
Is it duplicating the image instead of acting as it's own monitor?
I'm not sure what that means. Sorry.
You mentioned you have three monitors, and it's seeing them all on your primary monitor.
Are all three monitors doing the same exact thing as your primary monitor or are they able to project different images?
Hi Paul, sorry for the frustrating morning. If you right-click on Proclaim in the dock, and then click options, does it say that it is assigned to a desktop? You need to make sure it is assigned to none, otherwise OS X will override Proclaim and force all the outputs to show up on the desktop you have selected.
Hope that helps. If that is not the issue could you post your logs here and I will look over it on Monday. http://support.proclaimonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/203763785-How-do-I-submit-log-files-
That was exactly what the problem was. Not sure how it got switched, but that fixed it. Thank you.
