The Text/No Text Quick screen has become "Sticky"

Whenever I have back-to-back songs in a presentation, when I reach the last slide of the first song, I hit the No Text quick screen while the musicians get it out of their system, then I advance to the first slide of the next song. Also sometimes I would hit the No Text QS during an instrumental bridge. Previously, the text would come back automatically as soon as I advanced the slide, however; after one of the last two updates the text doesn't come back, I have to click the Text/No Text quick screen again to turn it back on. Was this change made on purpose? Is it going to stay that way? Of course, I can handle the change, but it did catch me by surprise.

Sorry about this. I noticed this yesterday and fixed it. This was a bug that slipped through. When we ship again it will be back to the way it was. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I was testing the iOS Remote App again yesterday over local wifi (for part of the service). I was switching between the iPad & the main console deliberately to simulate what will happen in future services. I flipped to 'no text' mode on the console, then tried to advance to a song on the iPad. At first I assumed the connection had been lost. Then when I switched back to the console and it still didn't display the text I had a moment of panic (as the introduction music was played). Then thankfully out of sheer desperation I tried toggling the 'no text' option and all was well!

Thanks for resolving it so quickly. But on the back of this experience, can I request the addition of some kind of 'current status' indicator. At the moment, when you click 'no text' it very subtly changes to 'text' - if there had been a status indicator letting me know that I was in 'no text' mode I would've spotted the problem (bug) immediately.

You also have to be careful if you advance to a slide which has no text, because all will look OK and the quick screen goes away so you can't toggle back on even if you know you're in "No Text" mode, until you advance to another slide which has text, the quick screen reappears and then you can turn your text back on. Obviously, the old way is much better.

This seems to have changed after the latest update. Now if you click on the No Text quick screen, the text goes away and the label on the quick screen changes to "Text" and if you advance to the next slide, the label changes to "No Text", but the text doesn't appear, if you advance again, the text comes back. And it works the same way if the intermediate slide has no text fields. However, going back to the beginning, you click the "No Text" QS, advance to the next screen, click on the QS (which now says "No text"), the text comes back, but the label toggles to "Text". Sorry if this is not clear.

Brendon, I've been able to reproduce the behavior you reported in your most recent post. Looks like it's a Windows-only issue that we're investigating. Hopefully we'll have a fix for this soon!
