New church on PROCLAIM from seven weeks ago. I always backup prior to Sunday in case of any problem. Slides are added via both MAC (latest El Capitan) and WIN10 computers. Our presentation computer is WIN10. I imported a external 98MB MP4 video to MAC this last week (Proclaim 1.34). Performed Backup Sunday Morning ninety minutes before Service time (completed successfully). When I arrived at church was informed by our AV team that INTERNET was too slow to get the VIDEO down so we applied the Backup to RESTORE function on our presentation machine.. All the service slides came in fine except the video which seemed to be downloading starting from around 40%. Additional info- our WIN10 presentation computer hadn't yet applied latest PROCLAIM update.
Raises several questions as follows:
1. Is the above a s/w glitch or a function of using MAC MP4 on WIN that prefers a different format?
2. Does PROCLAIM have its own video codecs or does it rely on the machine "where used" codecs?
3. Does PROCLAIM do any video encoding for compatibility?
4. What is the best format for imported Video compatibility and proper BACKUP/RESTORE?
Thank you!!
