Starting a different presentation while On-Air within a presentation

Is there a way, while "On-air" in one presentation, to start a new presentation and when closing the second return to where you were in the first? Kinda like the OSB? The advantage of this would allow impromptu deviations without having to add and remove items to the primary presentation.

My worship pastor likes to trial run new songs before using them in a service and during rehearsal may suddenly decide to practice one of them. I put these new songs in Brunner's Bullpen until they are actually used in a regular service to retain the formatting and verse sequence. It would be great if I could go "On-air" with the bullpen and select the song. Currently I have to go into edit mode, add the item (Reuse), go back to preview, run the song and then remember to delete the song at some later time. An alternative is to go off-air, open the bullpen, go on air, then reverse the steps when done all the while the worship team stares at me wondering what's taking so long.

I have actually wanted this feature myself too (switching presentations seamlessly while on air) however last time I brought it up, no one else on the team saw much utility in it. Perhaps you bringing it up will start the conversation again. I'll talk to the rest of the team.

I have a slightly different twist on this (but I think one worth mentioning). On communion Sundays, I program a "Communion" slide at the end of our kid's worship presentation so that at the right point in the main worship service I can hit the "Communion" slide on the kid's worship remote and the kids can come downstairs. The problem of course with this setup is that I am actively controlling the main service remote. And so I have to make the awkward move in front of everybody of using two tablets at once. It would be so neat if I could cue a slide on the kid's worship presentation by hitting a slide that's "linked" to it on the main worship presentation.

Just something to ponder, since this thread is thinking out of the box a little bit anyways.
