Windows question: sharing programs between my USERS

windows Vista 64bit.

This is slightly off topic, but it relates to LOGOS use of the Betas.

When I created a special LOG On User in which to load the BETA L4, I started working more often Logged in as THAT user but ... some of my favorite little programs are hidden away under my main (original) LOG ON User.

I have found a way to navigate to some files I needed: Right-click on the start button , left-click on explore all users, go to the folder and open the file. BUT - Is there a way of sharing certain programs, folders so when I go into my new USER area - to use L4 Beta - I can still access my most useful programs / files?

PS - the original LOG ON User was (still is) my ADMINISTRATOR.

May be this is not the answer you wanted to hear but that was the reason I installed my Beta to the main Profile. I use it as my main Logos installation and it works great. Of course I am aware of the risks involved [:)]

Initially (and currently) the advise of LOGOS is to create a different USER and to load the Beta there.

I too, have not had any problems with the Beta ... yet. My workflow has been uninterupted which is great. Maybe I should load the beta into my ADMIN User before getting too heavily invested in this User.

If you originally installed programs "for this user only" (Admin) then it's usually a matter of copying their shortcuts. Files and Folders you want to share can be placed in the Shared Documents folder (or open Windows Help and Support and type "share files").
