There are a ton of releases on the page of volumes for this year and we know from prior years we will miss those dates. Therefore, can I get someone to say what will be released this year? Thanks

Doesn't help you to know the dates, but I thought this line on the Logos EEC website  page about the release dates was quite amusing ...

"All release dates are rough estimates and subject to many unknown variables."

Lexham Press is the publisher so why not ask on occasion when we can expect a new volume; especially when the Evangelical Exegetical Commentary volume page shows several to be released this year? But prior years missed the mark but someone at Lexham Press should know something.

Right now, EEC Jeremiah and EEC Philippians are on track to be released in Logos by the end of the year. EEC Exodus and EEC Esther are on track to be released in print by November.

EEC Jeremiah is very close. It's been through several rounds of writing/academic review/revision. We just finished up copyediting and it needs one last quick review before Logos production.

Likewise, EEC Philippians has also gone through many many rounds of writing/academic review/revision. It also just came back from one of our copyeditors and needs an additional review. This volume came in at around 800,000 words, so it has been quite the editorial endeavor.

I also updated other estimated release dates to be a bit more realistic, though many are still rough dates and subject to change. I will be checking in with all EEC authors and editors this week and will update again accordingly. It is very difficult for our authors and editors to offer us accurate completion dates due to the complex nature of their research and writing.

Stay tuned and thank you for your patience!

Thanks Justin. I am pretty sure we already have Exodus though.

I think it is Exodus and Esther in the print version that is going to be available soon. They've been available in Logos format for a few years.

I realize that the dates are just estimates,  and like encyclopedia brittanica there are many unknown variables that cause delays (and those are just the known unknown variables, never mind the unknown unknown). But the delivery of the majority of the volumes has been very behind what was originally estimated. Even for the remainder of this year, there were a further 8 books estimated to be published, but only 2 of those may now be published. The latest estimated dates for several outstanding volumes (at least 6) are over 4-5 years late from the initial estimate  (and still it is just an estimate and could slip further). And an additional 9 volumes still don't even have an estimated release date (TBA).

I think I may have passed on to be with the Lord before the series is finished - can I get a refund on missing volumes if I do? [:)]

Jeremiah date has now been updated to July 2017.

Philippians is scheduled for March 2017.

Not a single title released in 2016.

Less than 25% of the set has been released.

The dates on the product page has been changed to well past 2019. Therefore, the target date is no longer viable so I don't expect anything anymore. The resources will come when they come.
