I would be interested in buying the new Logos 7 Lutheran Gold Library. A question I have yet is if the resources with Martin Luther as author are tagged. I mean, do they link to "Luther's Works" (LW) in the way that when I open for example Althaus' Theology of Martin Luther, the links to LW would open also the following resources?

- The Precious and Sacred Writings of Martin Luther
- Martin Luther's Basic Theological Writings, 3rd ed.
- ...

Thanks in advance

No. They can't, since there is no author's datatype for Martin Luther (such as there are for some of the famous Church Fathers) except for the Small Catechism and such in the Book of Concord.

    Makes sense...

    Thanks!

There are too much big players like Luther's Works (LW), the Weimar Edition (WA) and some others like Walch's Sämmtliche Schriften or the above mentioned resources... Am I right assuming that the catechisms etc included in the LW are tagged differently as in the separated resources?

I don't own LW, unfortunately.... but as far as I recall from the other thread where IIRC Mikko built an index of Lutheran resources which I expanded with non-LW resources, the catechisms are absent from LW for whatever reason (maybe the editor felt everybody in their intended readership owns them anyway).

Thanks for the reminder having a look into the Index!

Seems that in LW 34 we find the last revision of the Large Catechism and other parts like the creeds etc in other volumes. But I'm not sure...

Sometime I will own LW... meanwhile I depend on Walch's Sämmtliche Schriften as PDF in Gothic type on my tablet  (seems to be the German of the English St.Louis Version if I'm right) and on the Index (very helpful)... owning the Logos Edition would be nice even in English [:)]
