Any idea why these resources downloaded to my system today? I have not ordered the Scared Books of the East collection, not do I want it.
I assume you have Logos Now. These are included in the Logos Now preview resources:

I thought it was weird at first too, especially since there's so many. They're only around for a month.
They are hidden resources now. So what happens at the end of the month? Will they just get pulled out of my hidden stuff?
I hesitated before writing this comment for a number of reasons. I feel that the downloading of the "Sacred books of the East" should not have occurred as an automatic download via Logos Now. This particular download made me uneasy.
While these books may be valuable for particular forms of academic study, some believers are careful as to what material they allow to enter their libraries - whether electronically or physically. These particular books do not honour the God of the Bible and some elevate false gods and beliefs that have kept millions in darkness. Bringing these into one's home could also be problematic spiritually. The fact that this is a temporary download and they can be "hidden" does not alter the fact that they have been downloaded and are now present in our homes and offices.
In making this observation I mean no disrespect to those who would like to read of study these books - as is their right. However, in my view the nature of these books should require that a person personally choose to download them if they wish. Keep well Paul
That is my thought as well. I live in the East and have both academic and practical need for these resources, however, I likely won't have time to do anything with them this month. But if this were something like the free Perseus downloads I wouldn't hesitate to grab it. (If only...)
While I am very sympathetic to those who have spiritual concerns about these resources, there's already likely similar, if less concentrated, matter present in most Logos libraries, such as pictures of idols in illustrated Bible dictionaries, etc.
BUT TO ALL: Be sure not to miss or hide the very nice Modern Christian Theology that is also part of this month's download!
If I didn't already own this set I don't know how I'd feel about getting them as LN previews. I think this many books from one set are too many for the purpose of a one-month preview, and especially this set, which may not have wide appeal, or which some may not even want at all in their libraries.
I have always thought that in addition to Hiding Resources, we should have a "This-One-Is-Beginning-to-Smell-Throw-It-Back" option for those resources we just simply do not want and will never need - regardless of whether it has a temporary or permanent license.
