I am diligently managing various arrangements etc in Elvanto, and finding that Proclaim's quite underdeveloped "My Songs" feature is incredibly hampering my efforts, such that I'm wasting up to an hour every week just trying to get Proclaim to behave.
I understand this relates to the intended/programmed functionality of My Songs - i.e. once a song is used, it archives it somewhere within Proclaim and maintains any/all future edits within Proclaim. This means you need to delete it from My Songs before you can have current version/arrangement from an external system (i.e. Elvanto) take form in Proclaim.
This is incredibly frustrating. It seems to me you can't simply disable the "My Songs" feature. Nor can you "clear cache" or similar for My Songs. You have to add a new song, start typing the title (must be a unique match), to then be able to delete it.
If either of the two conclusions I've stated above are incorrect, please let me know! It will save many headaches!
I've seen on the forums numerous development requests over many years in relation to the My Songs functionality. Strong development suggestion: either fix it or get rid of it., seriously guys.
