Jumpy Slide transitions

I use Proclaim at two different churches. I thought there was a problem with my laptop at the one church because the slide/text transition is jump/stilted. It looks like the processor is overloaded. But I've updated the graphics drivers, and it has 8GB of Ram. I don't think that's the problem. This week our slide operator noticed the same problem at the other church.
Have you had reports of this? Can't find a way to adjust transition time - thought maybe it was trying to do it too fast? Either way, the effect is distracting and unpleasant. And it is not restricted to one single transition style.
Thank you for your help!

I have this same problem on one of our laptops. Ironically, it is the laptop with the best spec, and it has a 4K display with a 3GB graphics card. Setting the laptop to 1920x1080 improves the situation, but doesn't resolve it entirely. (Both this laptop, and the much lower spec laptops are driving the same projector at the same resolution.)

Thanks for the detailed report, Jeff. I've got a couple of questions to help us start troubleshooting:
- How similar are the hardware setups at the two churches?
- Are you seeing the stilted transitions on the presenting computer, the projector, or both?
- A copy of your dxdiag (from each machine) would help us rule out some possibilities.
Thanks in advance! Hopefully we can get this working more smoothly for you.

I also reported a problem with the confidence monitor which I was told would be fixed by downloading and installing proclaim again direct from the website. It appears that it also fixed the slide transition problem. I have requested our tech support to update the machine in our worship space to see if it will do the same for it. If it does not solve the problem, I will upload the requested dxdiag files.
The hardware is similar yet different (haha, sorry!). At one location, we use an i5 laptop (I believe an HP?) with 8GB of RAM. The other location we have a desktop, not sure what processor/model/memory. Both use Crestron systems which are custom programmed/designed for the worship spaces they are in. One connects to projectors, the other to large mounted flat screen TVs.
I see the stilted transition on both the monitor (computer) and the projectors/TVs.Thanks for following up! I will post as soon as the tech team installs the update and I can get to the machine to check it.

Sorry, the above is me - Jeff! Was signed into a different machine with the church account. Same person though!

Hi Peter!
I would like to report the same issue with jumpy slide transitions. And it is a recent bug, maybe two updates ago if I were to guess. We tend to use Windows machines for building and editing presentations, and just like the others, it is our powerhouse that exhibits the issue. We use a Mac for presentation on Sunday mornings and no issues there.
We are a church start with a small team so sometimes I need to use the Windows machine to screen-capture a song being played in Proclaim so I can then include it as a completed video with the motion background and timing to match a recording of our praise team! I know that is a crazy work around, but it is effective for us when folks need to be out of town etc. Thus the need for smooth transitions on Windows AND Mac. Thank you!!6708.DxDiag.txt
I have attached the DXDiag.
